Although titled Gallery Dept, the storefront has nothing to do with a gallery at all but rather is an atelier founded by artist and designer Josue Thomas. Located in Los Angeles, the storefront acts as a retail store as well as the home office for the designer. Striving to re-purpose and re-imagine each garment, the brand takes inspiration from things happening in everyday life to create new pieces.
